Different between regular and irregular verbs
                               in past

REGULAR AND IRREGULAR VERBS
We come to a very important topic as is the handling of verbs in any language. Undoubtedly, handling the conjugation of verbs in Spanish has its complication, but to our delight it is much easier to handle it in English language.
Now let me explain what it is about.
What is the verb?ADVERTISING
The verb is an action that the subject performs, it can also be defined as a state of the subject. For example:
- Maria sings a song (the verb sings shows an action of the subject)
- Pedro is my dance teacher (the verb is demonstrates a state of the subject)
In English language the concept of the verb does not differ from that of Spanish.
Classification
Spanish-language verbs are divided into two:

Regular verbs

Irregular verbs
Since this is not the Spanish course for Foreigners, I will not stop to detail the difference of this classification. It is in my best interest that you understand how it works in English.
In English they also have a similar split and it is simpler than it looks. If at any time you got headaches this subject, well, today you will be absolutely clear.
The verbs are divided into 2 groups:
Regular verbs .- Regular English verbs are those that to form their past tense only need the addition of ED to the present time. Example:

PRESENT TIME
I work = I work
I walk = I walk

I jump
I cook = I cook
I open = I open
I close = I close

PAST TIME

I worked
I walked
I jumped = I jumped
I cooked = I cooked
I opened = I opened
I closed

If the verb ends in E as in the verb close, to form the past tense we only add a D and not ED
As you will notice, it is very simple, you only need to memorize the verb in Present Time, then you will add ED to form Past Time, without forgetting to remember its meaning and practice pronunciation. That easy.

Irregular Verbs. - Irregular verbs, however, differ totally from their Present-Time structure, because when you need to write or speak in past tense you must memorize the same in that tense verb. Therefore, in Irregular Verbs you must memorize both the Present Time as well as the Last Time. Example:

Do you understand now how the past tense of Irregular verbs is handled? When we speak in Present Time we will write and pronounce in a way but when we are speaking in Past Time, we will write and pronounce differently.
